Wait for the Appointed Time
2010 Dr. Brenda Simuel Jackson, Ph.D.
It was an appointed time for Mom when I was born.
It was an appointed time for me when from Mom’s apron strings I was torn.
It was not a time appointed when from the right way, I strayed. It was not a time appointed when graduation from school was delayed.
It was not a time appointed when drugs became my trade.
It was an appointed time when God, my life He saved!
I have learned, God has an appointed time for a positive plan for me, all I need do is actively wait with hope and glee.
There is an appointed time for God’s plan.
I wait with eager expectation, knowing my future is in His hands.
