Morning Joy

2008 Dr. Brenda Simuel Jackson, Ph.D.

To wake in the morning brings joy.
To move with or without pain sings joy.
To remember Him who gave life twice is the focus of my joy.
To forget past failures and falls in His forgiveness is the foundation of my joy.
The heavens remain, the earth still is, reasons for joy.
Birds sing, grass dies, souls return to dust, the spirit lives on, reasons for joy.
Contentment in good times and in bad times is joy.
When all else fails, He is ever near, and His present felt, what joy!.
I am mindful, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!
